Eka Jaya Fast Boat to Gili
Eka Jaya fast boats started operating a fast boat to Gili and Lombok in 2008. Since then they have established themselves as one of the best budget fast boat operators in gthe region, offering multiple departures on their large purpose built fast boats from Bali to Gili Islands. They take safety and service seriously and their staff are well trained, all this should make your journey as comfortable, fast and safe as possible.
Eka Jaya operate their main route from Padang Bai to Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno*, Gili Air and Lombok (Bangsal). They have 4 large, new and fully equipped international standard fast boats offering a choice of multiple daily departures between Bali and the Gili Islands, as well as services from Bali to Nusa Lembongan, Bali to Penida and Ceningan.
*Gili Meno - There is an extra 35,000 IDR (€3) p.p. charge levied by the locals to transfer between shore and the Eka Jaya mooring.
Advice for Bali arrivals: When arriving at Padang Bai from the Gili Islands, please ignore the many taxi drivers and hawkers present on the pier and proceed to your free drop service which will be waiting in the main square about 20m from the jetty. Only follow instructions by Eka Jaya staff in official uniform, holding signs which say "Eka Jaya Shuttle". You may need to be proactive in asking for clear directions from them. This can be an uncomfortable situation for some customers, but unfortunately Eka Jaya are unable to prohibit local drivers from coming on to the jetty in this manner.
Full safety equipment onboard, including life jackets and large life rafts, toilet, TV, spacious roof sundeck.
A port fee might be collected upon check-in (in cash).

Hotel Transfers
Hotel transfers on Bali can be added from Kuta, Legian, Seminiak, Kerobokan, Sanur, Denpasar, Canggu, Tanah Lot, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, Sawangan , Pecatu, Balangan, Kutuh Kuta Selatan, Ubud, Tegalalang, Pejeng, Candidasa, Sidemen, Amed, Tulamben, Kintamani, Lovina, Pemuteran, Medewi, Bedugul, Selemadeg and Keranbitan.
Once you booked, the boat company will send you your pick-up time.
Island Hopping
For those wishing to travel from Bali to Lombok or the Gili Islands you could also have a stopover on Nusa Lembongan, Penida or Ceningan. You could book a ticket from Padang Bai to Lembongan / Ceningan / Penida and an other ticket from Lembongan / Ceningan / Penida to Lombok or the Gili islands.
You could stay for a couple of days (1 night minimum) before continuing to Lombok or one of the Gili Islands. You can also do it the other way around, from the Gili's or Lombok to Bali via Lembongan.

NOTE: For Nusa Penida arrivals, a local toursit tax is charged. Please ensure you have enough cash to cover IDR25,000 per adult and IDR15,000 per child.
Harbour locations
The maps on this page show the departure locations in Padang Bai, Lembongan, Penida and Gili T.
For check-in, please proceed directly to their offices. In Padang Bai their office is located at Jl. Silayukti.
On Lembongan the office is located at the Yellow Bridge in the South part of the island, this is the same for Ceningan departures and on Penida the harbour is named Banjar Nyuh harbour.
On Gili Trawangan you will arrive and depart beside the Eka Jaya office, on Gili Air at the Gili Air Harbor, on Gili Meno beside of Rust Restaurant.
On Lombok you will arrive and depart from Bangsal Harbour or Senggigi Harbour.
Luggage allowance
The maximum allowance per passenger is one bigger luggage/suitcase and one cabin sized bag. Excess luggage will be charged extra for IDR10.000/KG.
Cancellation & amendment policy
Eka Jaya have a flexible, easy cancellation and refund policy:
- Cancellation up to 7 days before departure = Full refund minus any charges applied to make the refund (see the general Terms and Conditions for cancellation charges).
- Cancellation less than 7 days but more than 48 hours = 50% refund minus any charges applied to make the refund (see the general Terms and Conditions for cancellation charges).
- Cancellation less than 48 hours = no refund.
- No show = no refund.
In cases of unexpected illness etc., exceptions can be considered if doctor's notes/other proof can be provided. Contact Eka Jaya using the details found on your e-tickets. If you wish to change your travel dates with Eka Jaya, you can do this for free (subject to availability), up to 48 hours in advance.
