Padang Bai to Gili Trawangan


Golden Queen depart daily from Padang Bai to the Gili Islands. The boat departing from Padang Bai stops at Gili TrawanganGili Air and Lombok (Bangsal) to drop off and pick up passengers before returning to Padang Bai. 

The boat crossing from Padang Bai to the Gili islands takes approximately 1h45 with passengers first being dropped on Gili Trawangan and then Gili Air. Lombok is the last stop before the boat returns to Padang Bai so the trip from Padang Bai to Lombok is about 2h45.

For Padang Bai departures hotel transfers are available (shuttle, private car or private minibus) from most tourist areas: Kuta, Legian, Jimbaran, Denpasar, Ubud, Canggu, Uluwatu, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran. Private transfer is also available to/from Amed. 
 
IMPORTANT: When arriving at Padang Bai from the Gili Islands, please ignore the many taxi drivers and hawkers present and proceed to your transfer service which will be waiting in the main square about 20m from the jetty. Only follow instructions by Golden Queen staff in official uniform, holding signs which say "Golden Queen". You may need to be proactive in asking for clear directions from them. This can be an uncomfortable situation for some customers, but unfortunately, Golden Queen is unable to prohibit local drivers from coming on to the jetty in this manner.
