Fly to Bali

An international flight to Bali arrives at Denpasar Airport in South Bali. Bali is a very popular destination amongst tourists and many airline providers have regular direct flights there from all over the globe. This makes it easy to book relatively cheap flights to Bali, especially if you're coming from Asia or Australia. The easiest way to check out a flight to Bali is by googling your departure point to Bali and the results should show up. If you're already in Indonesia it is recommended to look at local flights to Bali as this is often much cheaper. Flights between Lombok and Bali are also possible and only around 25 minutes. It might also be worth checking out the Bali holiday packages or Bali honeymoon packages as tour providers often include some great combination deals.

Lombok to Bali

How to get from Lombok to Bali?

Lombok is the first island next to Bali on the right which makes getting from Lombok quite easy. From Lombok there are several options such as a fast boat, slow ferry and plane so depending on where you're staying you should pick your way of transportation.

  • Most fast boats depart from locations in North-West Lombok such as Bangsal, Senggigi and Teluk Nare. They often travel to Padang Bai in East Bali or continue their trip to South Bali locations such as Serangan and Sanur. There is also an island hopper available to travel from Lombok to Bali via Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Penida with Eka Jaya.

  • The slow ferry departs from Lembar in the South of Lombok and takes around 6 hours to get to Padang Bai harbour. This long, slow and quite uncomfortable trip is mostly used by locals and departs at set times throughout the day.

  • A flight from Lombok to Bali takes approx. 25 minutes and there are several flights a day. You will depart from Lombok airport, which is in the middle of Lombok, to Denpasar airport in Bali, which is located a bit more South. Lombok airport is quite small which means you wont be spending a long time there either!

If you're not located close to any of the above mentioned departure locations on Lombok, simply book your transfer through our sister website Gili-islandtransfers.com.
